Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit applies to a cellar door sales operation in the wine industry. It covers in-depth knowledge of grape varieties and wine styles to a level sufficient to identify wine by grape variety, region and vintage, and the identification of specialised wine faults. The unit also covers in-depth knowledge of enterprise wine sufficient for selection of wines to match food choices, for suggestions as alternatives to overseas styles, and for provision of advice on serving and ageing. | ||
